Job Description
Discovery Leaing is looking for A1 Assessors for the following qualifications: 1. Gym Instructor Qualification2. Personal Trainer QualificationWe need assessors in Manchester and Birmingham The role of the Assessor is to make an informed judgement about the range of evidence a candidate may produce to demonstrate their competence to meet the assessment criteria.To maintain objectivity, Assessors should NOT be the specific programme Tutor. Wherethis is not possible Centres must apply to CYQ for approval.Responsibilities of Assessor(s)1. Carrying out assessments in accordance with CYQ specified documentation or with2. Centre documentation which has been previously approved by the CYQ Technical Team3. Ensuring evidence provided by candidates is sufficient to meet the CYQ requirements4. Providing feedback to the candidate about performance and achievement5. Devising and agreeing an assessment action plan with the candidate as appropriate6.
