Maintenance / Electrical / Mechanical / Multi skilled – Trim and Final
Location - West Midlands, Birmingham, Walsall, Coventry, Gaydon, Redditch, Stourbridge, Wolverhampton, West Bromwich, Nuneaton, Tamworth, Stoke on Trent, Lichfield, Walsall, Bromsgrove
Basic rate - £18.50 + 3 month contract
The Role:
As Maintenance Engineer you will solely responsible for ensuring that all production and ancillary machinery, equipment and power systems operate at maximum efficiency. You must have good electrical or mechanical skills , and you will have prior experience working within a production maintenance capacity.
Installation of new automated plant equipment.
Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulics, Pneumatics experience
Fault diagnosis/breakdown repairs on automated assembly equipment
Co ordinate maintenance activities and manage problem escalation
Analyse breakdowns and implement countermeasures
Identification machine spares and upkeep of spares facility
TPM/PPM
Key skills and attributes
Proven track record in electrical/electronic fault finding
Good understanding of PLC control systems (Allen Bradley & Siemens S5 or S7)
Working knowledge of pneumatics/hydraulics
Good verbal and written communication skills, together with computer literacy
Self motivated, flexible and ability to undertake training in additional skills and Qualified to City and Guilds, ONC, NVQ levels 3 or 4 in electrical/electronic engineering/installations.
