Job Description
This is a great opportunity for a Senior ITS Engineer to provide wide ranging traffic/transportation expertise to multi-disciplinary teams within our client. You will provide support in developing and winning new business Nationally and Inteationally.
The position is based in West Yorkshire but working as part of the wider traffic/transportation team, your main responsibilities will include:
Helping to grow the business for the team.
Assisting in the management and delivery of projects.
Managing and delivering technical and financial requirements of projects.
Strengthening the effectiveness of the existing team.
Be willing to establish a leadership and coaching relationship with peers.
About You:
You will ideally be educated to degree level in a relevant discipline and a post graduate qualification in traffic/transportation is preferred.
You will have experience in at least two of the following areas:
ITS - Urban and Interurban
Toll roads, DBFO & PFI
Application of ITS
You will be ambitious, hard working and lateral thinker, enjoy finding innovative and challenging solutions across a wide range of projects within multi-disciplinary teams. Be flexible in attitude and outlook, have a practical attitude to ITS, be able to "multi-task "and be able to contribute to effective team working relationships with colleagues and Clients. You will be willing to travel in UK, and overseas.
