Job Title: Quality Engineer
Location: Leicestershire
Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 + Benefits

Due to continued growth & success a leading engineering company based in Leicestershire are looking for the next addition to their Quality team.

The responsibilities of the Quality Engineer are as follows:
· Provide quality support across all project stages, from bid to project delivery
· Work closely with the design team to ensure that quality is built in from an early stage
· Work with suppliers to develop manufacturing processes
· Auditing (Inteal & Supplier)
· Act as the first point of contact for any quality issues from customers & suppliers
· Investigate and close any complaints completing non conformance reports and implementing corrective & preventative actions

To fulfil these requirements you must have the following skills / experience:
· Educated to degree level / equivalent experience
· Conversant with ISO9001
· Auditing experience – trained inteal / lead auditor is beneficial
· Strong problem solving ability – 8D, 5Y, FMEA, etc.
· Experience of working on low volume high value projects
· Able to work well under pressure & tight timescales
· Excellent organisation & time management skills
