Due to ongoing success, our client has just launched a massive recruitment drive for Design Engineers to join their growing aero-structures team based in Bristol. This company is the highly respected and world-renowned provider of specialist consultancy services. This particular division provides high end technical and project management services to the prime aerospace companies. They are involved in some of the most challenging and exciting aerospace projects in the world.
The successful applicant will be degree qualified in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering (or possess suitable experience in lieu of a degree). You will have experience in conceptual and detail design of aircraft primary structures or experience from similar industries. Any experience of CATIA would be ideal.
You should be professional in approach and performance; have strong communication skills and commercial awareness. You should also be a good team worker with the ability to effectively manage yourselves and colleagues, as well as the flexibility and desire to contribute to non aero-structures related design challenges.
Our client develops individuals through a portfolio of training and development courses designed to help you make the best of your abilities and talents. These are reviewed with individuals through an annual appraisal process. They actively support staff in achieving corporate membership of relevant institutions. Some work outside normal office hours may be necessary. Travel to and from client sites and/or temporary secondment to client’s offices may also be required.
All candidates must be in a position to obtain UK security clearance to BC level. Additional restrictions may apply to certain projects.
