Quality Inspector (Machine Shop) - Bristol

£19,000 - £23,000 + Overtime + Training + 25 days Holiday

Are you a Quality Inspector from a machine shop background with experience in final inspection of parts?

Do you want a highly autonomous role where your attention to detail will be crucial in the delivery of specialist components?

In this role you will be responsible for the final inspection of machined and welded bespoke components. Attention to detail is of paramount importance and you will be required to ensure that all products/raw materials are traceable throughout the manufacturing process. You will also be be responsible for making sure that all parts adhere to standards in place prior to dispatch.

Responsibility for inspection in this highly regulated environment is a critical function within the business and this role is therefore suited to those inspectors who take pride in their work. in retu for your expertise you will be rewarded with a competitive salary and the chance to join a growing company with good future prospects.

The Role:

* Final inspection of machined and welded metal components
* Ensuring identification & traceability of all products & raw materials throughout the manufacturing processes
* Control of non-conforming products throughout the manufacturing process
* Ensuring all parts adhere to customer standards and documentation prior to dispatch

The Person:

*Metal-based or machine shop engineering background. Preferably aerospace.
* Experience of Quality inspection (final parts)
* Experience of carrying out dye penetrant and surface finish inspection would also be desirable.
* Excellent understanding of engineering drawings is essential
