Job Description
A Logistics Company in Kent are looking for an experienced Inteational Transport Planner.
Main duties:
• Arranging collections and deliveries
• Do spot rates
• Liaising with drivers and customers
• Planning trailer space
• Producing loading lists and offloading manifests
• Liaising with warehouse and overseas agents
• Dealing with queries and claims
• Invoicing files
• Profit and loss per trip
• Mostly planning own vehicles but will occasionally need to deal with sub-contractors and negotiate rates
• Dealing with all documentation
Candidates must have excellent transport planning experience and a strong understanding of European markets. Italian language skills would be preferred for this role as would a knowledge of food transportation.
The salary is c£20k - £23k.
