Job Description
A Logistics Service Provider in South Kent is currently looking for a Senior Transport Planner to join their busy transport office. You will be responsible for the effective planning of goods for National and European distribution with particular emphasis on utilising subcontractors, hauliers, distribution partners as well as their own fleet.
You will be confident with route planning techniques and have a proven ability of effective planning of consolidated consignments, a high level of customer service is essential and you will be aware of the legal restrictions on drivers hours. You will have experience of completing relevant documentation to a good standard and a high level of accuracy. Hours cover days across a Monday to Saturday shift patte between the hours of 7am and 7pm.
