What is the Hotel Like?
Hilton London Docklands is located on the South bank of the River Thames, with stunning views over Canary Wharf. The hotel has 365 guest bedrooms and a vibrant Food & Beverage Department, with Terrace Restaurant, Lounge Bar and 24-hour Room Service. With its unique riverside location, it is easy to forget how close to the City and Central London you are, with easy links via fast-ferry service to Canary Wharf and shuttle bus to Canada Water on the Jubilee line.
What will I be doing?
The Health & Fitness Coach’s role is to build effective relationships with all Club members in order to provide proactive health and fitness advice to each individual. Specific responsibilities include:
• Conducting individual health and fitness assessments and developing individual exercise programmes in relation to member’s lifestyle and personal requirements
• Vary member’s gym experiences through a constantly stimulating and motivating personal programme that will facilitate member retention and extension.
• Working with the Health & Fitness Manager to introduce cross Department retention/extension initiatives
• Teaching group exercise classes and personal coaching sessions as required
• Ensuring that Club members and guests receive an efficient, friendly, consistent and personalised service as required
• Ensuring the safety of colleagues, members and themselves at all times
What are we looking for?
As a Fitness Instructor we are expecting you to have:
• Strong customer awareness and focus
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate flexibly with members
• Good knowledge of up-to-date approaches to health & fitness
• Experience of working in a gym, or have studied a relevant qualification
• Must be Level 2 Fitness Instructor Qualified
