Job Description
The Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust (WWT) is a leading wetland conservation organisation saving wetlands for wildlife and people across the world. We have a network of visitor centres dedicated to engaging people with wetlands and their wildlife including over 2,000 hectares of wetland habitats.
The Arundel Wetland Centre is looking for a competent chef to join our team within the visitor centre cafe. You will maintain high standards of hygiene and service and maximise profit by planning menus and developing the offer for the cafe and functions business. You will have experience of supervising a team and working to targets and deadlines.
You will be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent with a level 2 certificate in food hygiene. Experience of working in a busy catering environment (including the delivery of functions catering), with significant knowledge of carrying out stock control and purchasing activities is essential.
