Bromley Mytime's Network

Company profile

Bromley Mytime was created to manage selected leisure services on behalf of Bromley. We have 2.5 m annual visits to our 17 sites including sports and leisure centres, golf courses and civic halls.

Our charitable status means that every penny of surplus is re-invested in service improvements, either in better leisure centres, or subsidised activity programmes in schools, on estates, and community settings which otherwise would not happen.

Our service success is grounded in ensuring each one of our customers has a great time, and continues to return again and again. With the support of our income paying customers we generate over £12m annually and have reinvested over £3m surplus back into Bromley’s leisure services, and launched many vital new services to improve health and education.

Our new Partnership Fund has helped establish the Bromley Sports and Arts Academy, a more comprehensive Schools Service, a Training Academy for local school leavers coming into leisure, and the Active Bromley campaign.

We work with every school in the Borough to increase participation in sports and the arts, and are the largest single provider of childcare services. With continuously increasing customer expectations we want to do even better in the run up to 2012 which offers a once in a lifetime chance to make a difference to everyone’s quality of life.

“We will continue to advocate with our partners for community renewal and personal
development through health, education, play and sports programmes and the arts to ensure
everyone has access to cultural opportunities.” Steve Price - Chief Executive
