The spa and beauty service industries are relatively young, especially the spa industry. There are three main routes for beauty graduates: High Street Salons � Sales Consultant � Spa or Health Club There are transferable skills in each career path and it is possible to jump between routes as opportunities arise. As well as these routes there is education and training in colleges, and bigger commercial organisations. Support roles and non-beauty related roles in spas are similar to those involved in a health club, with peripheral services designed to increase revenue per visitor.
